All free standing furniture or fitted furniture is designed specifically to meet clients specific requirements. No charge is made for design work.

Manufacture methods are chosen to suit the design and clients budget.

Traditional joints as would have been used by Chippendale are still used to construct furniture in solid timbers such as Oak, Ash, Mahogany or South Carolina Yellow Pine.

Modern methods of construction are used when using a combination of solid timber and MDF espesially with fitted furniture.

Furniture to be painted are constructed with South Carolina Yellow Pine and MDF (Please note: Chip board is NEVER used).

Parts of furniture such as shelving and other flat board like items can be made from solid timber. But in the interests of the environment, to reduce costs and to avoid stability problems with solid timber, MDF can be veneered in the workshop. This has the advantage that by matching veneers unique grain patterns can be obtained which are difficult to achieve in solid timber at an economical cost. Book matched oak looks fantastic.
